Apple Pay will launch October, turns your iPhone into a secure payment platform

Apple Pay
Rumors of Apple implementing a mobile payment system in theiPhone 6 turned out to be true! The credit card system is five decades old, and it's so easy to lose your card - said Tim Cook. No wonder Apple wanted to give a go at replacing the archaic system, and behold, Apple Pay was born! The system uses a NFC module positioned on top of the phone for payments in physical locations, and TouchID authentication to authorize online payments via Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Users simply have to add their card on file with iTunes. Cards are added through the phone's iSight camera- simple as that!

Over 22 000 retailers will work with Apple's payment system. The mechanism is very private - Apple insists that it never knows how much you paid for what, and where. If an iPhone with your credit card information is lost, you can disable all payments through the Find My iPhone service.

We can't wait to tell you more! Keep coming back to PhoneArena to get the full nitty-gritty on what's surely about to become a very popular payment platform in America! The service launches in October.
