Samsung’s Metal iPhone 6 Killer Exposed?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is pretty much a lock for September, but it looks like Samsung will battle the iPhone 6 this fall with two flagship devices. The smartphone maker is expected to take on Apple by releasing a premium metal version of the company’s popular Galaxy S5, and a recently leaked image gives us the clearest look yet at the possible Galaxy F.  While the Galaxy S5 impressed us with its speedy performance, streamlined software features and beautiful display, we weren’t as taken with its cheap plastic body. The rumored Galaxy F is supposed to address that concern by packing better specs into an aluminum chassis.

The pictures tweeted by the leaksters at Evleaks, who have had a good track record of showing off products before their actual release dates, show a new Galaxy
that is definitely more attractive than its predecessor. We like the brushed metal finish on the device’s back, compared to the dimpled backside of the existing S5.
A previously leaked image shows the S5 variant with the same white bezel framed by gold edges. The metal Galaxy is also expected to carry a larger and sharper, 5.3-inch, 2560 x 1440 display (up from 1920 x 1080 pixels) and a more powerful Snapdragon 805 processor.
The rumored iPhone 6, on the other hand, is likely to come in two models — 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch — and have a resolutions of 1704 x 960 pixels (up from iPhone 5s’ 4-inch, 1136 x 640 display). Both of those models could have super-strong sapphire-crystal screens and quad-core, 64-bit A8 CPUs.
Apple is expected to unveil its next-generation iPhone in September, while Samsung is expected to launch its next Galaxy Note phablet in addition to the purported Galaxy F around the same time. We can’t wait to see which tech giant will outdo the other.
