At an announcement made at the Galaxy Note Edge World Tour 2014 in
Tokyo, Samsung stated that the handset will be available in the country
by the end of October through KDDI and NTT Docomo.
The Galaxy Note Edge comes with support for the S Pen stylus, and
features a 5.6-inch Quad-HD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (as
well as a 160 pixel panel that curves to one edge), 2.7 GHz Snapdragon
805 CPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, microSD slot up to 128 GB, LTE
Category 4 connectivity, 16 MP camera at the back, 3.7 MP shooter at
the front and a 3,000 mAh battery.
As for availability in other regions, Samsung is scheduled to announce release information shortly. Users in the UK can get in on the action through retailer Clove, who is currently taking pre-orders for the device.
