The Samsung Galaxy Alpha A3 and A5 star in this video, might come sans removable battery and rear cover

At this point, it's almost sure that the Galaxy Alpha will donate its name and premium metal-clad build to a completely new Samsung lineup of device spinoffs. Numerous leaks previously indicated that among the first representatives of this series will be the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Alpha A3 (SM-A300X) and Galaxy Alpha A5 (SM-A500F).

The Galaxy Alpha A3 and A5 spring chickens already proved that they are not camera-shy at all – just two days ago they exhibited their Galaxy Alpha-inspired design in a bunch of leaked photos, but now we can see the video, from which the aforementioned photos got extracted. In it, we can see the the Galaxy Alpha A3 and A5 compared to the Galaxy Alpha size-wise.

Apart from the ability to eye their exterior once again, the newest round of leaked info suggests that the rear covers of the Galaxy Alpha spinoffs are non-removable, which is not very typical for Samsung. The batteries are tipped to be non-removable as well – another pretty unorthodox Samsung decision.

We are talking rumors here, mind you, so until the device becomes official, we can't say if Sammy has decided to swerve from its usual phylosophy. Then again, the Galaxy Alpha was the first Samsung device to employ a more premium metal build in its exterior build, so it won't surprise us if the new Alpha line of devices are discern from the plethora of Samsung smartphones in yet another category and come with non-removable rear cover and battery beneath it.
