Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 4 now available in the US via Amazon

Samsung Galaxy Note 4
If you just can’t wait until next week, when all major US carriers will start selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, you can buy the handset right now from Amazon. The retailer lets you get the new Note unlocked, for $854.88 (black model), or $868.99 (white model). This is the 32 GB international variant (SM-N910), and Amazon warns that it’s offering it without warranty (though you can buy a 1-year drops & spills warranty for an extra $89.99). You can also order the Galaxy Note 4 in gold, for $904.48, but this model isn’t in stock yet, and is expected to ship “within 6 to 10 days.”

The Galaxy Note 4 is arguably one of the best extra-large smartphones that money can buy right now. It brings lots of improvements over the Note 3 from last year, including an enhanced display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, faster processor, better cameras (16 MP on the back, and 3.7 MP on the front), and a more useful S Pen stylus. The new Galaxy Note is also the first in the series to use metal in its design. You can find out much more about the handset if you check out our Galaxy Note 4 review.

Do you plan to buy an unlocked Galaxy Note 4, or you'd rather wait until your carrier offers it on contract? Let us know in the comments!
