Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Price, Release Date Leaked

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Price, Release Date Leaked

Samsung is gearing up to introduce two killer devices at its Unpacked event Aug. 13 in New York. Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 are expected to be unveiled on the same day. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is expected to come bundled with similar configurations as the Note 5. However, the Edge version will reportedly skip the S-Pen stylus and will feature a side-sloping panel, unlike the Note variant. According to the latest report, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ price details have been leaked by Sam Mobile, quoting a credible insider as the source.

The Galaxy Note 5 will be released in limited numbers at the start, whereas the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be given preference, at least in Europe. The 32 GB internal storage variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will reportedly set buyers back 799.99 euros, which roughly translates to $877. In comparison, the flagship Galaxy S6 Edge’s original price used to be roughly 700 euros ($767), notes Phone Arena. The main difference between the Edge variants is the display size. While the Galaxy S6 Edge comes with a 5.1-inch display, the plus version will boast a whopping 5.7-inch screen.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ will hit stores on Aug. 21, says Sam Mobile. The 5.7-inch display will be complemented by 1,440 x 2,560 pixels screen resolution. Samsung’s Exynos 7420 processor will be powering the handset. A phenomenal 4 GB of RAM configuration will also be part of the device, aiding the already powerful hardware unit, according to Phone Arena.

Another Phone Arena report says a whopping 3,700 mAh battery unit will power the Edge variant. The handset will come equipped with 32 GB of native memory storage without a microSD slot. The South Korean conglomerate has not confirmed the Galaxy S6 Edge+ specifications or price so far.
