Samsung's Z3 Tizen smartphone allegedly pictured in the wild

Samsung is reportedly getting ready to launch several new Tizen smartphones, and, according to previous rumors, one of them will be called Samsung Z3. Thanks to Korean website Tizen Cafe, we can now take a look at what seem to be the first photos showing the Z3 (model number SM-Z300H).

The photos show the Samsung Z3 running Tizen OS 3.0, though it's said that, at launch, the handset will run Tizen OS 2.4 (but perhaps an update to version 3.0 will be available shortly after that).

We can see that the Z3 supports two SIM cards, and has a screen which looks considerably larger than the screen of Samsung's first Tizen smartphone (the 4-inch Z1). As reported not long ago, the display of the Z3 could be a 5-inch Super AMOLED one with 720 x 1280 pixels. The new handset should also feature a quad-core 1.3 GHz Spreadtrum SC7730S processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage space, and a 2600 mAh battery. The phone is expected to have an 8 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front-facing camera.

The Samsung Z3 could be officially announced at the end of July in India, and we assume that's where it's going to be available first (probably at an attractive price).
