Yesterday BlackBerry took the wraps off its latest smartphone - the Passport Silver Edition.
While it's really little more than a new color variant for this model,
the company launched it like it's an entirely new device. The silver hue
and metal frame do look nice, but on the inside the specs are identical
to those of the black Passport.
Anyway, if you're a fan of the new Silver Edition, you probably know
that it's already available to buy in the US. But what if you're in the
UK and desperately crave one of these?
Well, all you can
do for now is pre-order one. That will ensure you'll be among the first
people to own the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition when it is released
in the UK sometime in late August.
Online retailer Clove already has the phone up for pre-order for £399, so you can go ahead and secure one for yourself over there.
The Passport
comes with a 4.5-inch 1,440x1,440 square touchscreen, a 13 MP rear
camera with OIS and LED flash, a 2 MP front-facing unit, the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.26 GHz quad-core Krait CPU aided by 3GB of
RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,450 mAh battery. It runs
BlackBerry OS 10.3.2.
