While waiting on what will probably
be the first phones to showcase the newest Android 6.0 Marshmallow - the
LG and Huawei-made Nexus handsets from Google - we've been dealing with
an influx of leaks of them both, with the latest being just recently, showcasing the intriguing shape of the metal-clad Huawei handset.
By
now we've seen the outer appearance of what will be Huawei's first
Nexus phone, and its dimensions also leaked out, inferring to a 5.7"
display size. The leaked chassis flaunts a fingerprint scanner on the
back, and two front-facing stereo speakers. Today we are getting
pictures of a prototype Huawei Nexus wrapped in a case, confirming the
presence of a USB Type-C connector at the bottom as well.
What
will be under the hood used to be a topic of speculation only, but the
system screen here reveals a Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3 GB RAM, and 64 GB
storage. Interestingly, the source points out that by the time this
Nexus hits, Google and Huawei might swap Snapdragon 810 for 820, as
there have been connectivity problems with this Qualcomm chipset on the
upcoming Nexus phone.
