Initially released only in China and Taiwan, the Nokia N1
can now be bought in Europe. The tablet is available to order via
Nokiashop.co.uk, and it looks like customers in the UK can receive it in
48 hours, or - for an extra £5 - in 24 hours. Orders from mainland
Europe are also accepted, but only for an extra £15.
The N1 tablet itself costs £219.00 - about $342, or €314. We have to mention that the Nokiashop.co.uk website is not maintained by Nokia, but buy a UK-based company that seems to be an official reseller of the N1.
Manufactured by Foxconn, the Nokia N1 runs Android Lollipop customized with Nokia's Z launcher. It's a pretty thin (6.9 mm) aluminum-made slate that offers plenty of attractive features, including a 7.9-inch display with 1536 x 2048 pixels, a quad-core 2.3 GHz Intel Atom processor, an 8 MP rear camera, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, and a 5400 mAh battery.
The Nokia N1 could soon be released in India, too. It doesn't look like the tablet will be available in North America, but we're going to let you know when we hear more about this.
