Buy a Nexus 7 through Google Play

The Nexus 7 (2013 edition) is nearly a year old, but it is still one heck of a nice tablet. The stock Android experience is quite excellent and the physical form factor allows for easy handling too.

There really is a lot to like about this Nexus tablet, the display is gorgeous, it has excellent battery life, the hardware performance is slick, and because it is a Nexus device, it has the latest and greatest of the Android operating system.

At $229 for a 16GB Wi-Fi model, the Nexus 7 is a good deal too. The 32GB Wi-Fi model is only $269 and an LTE connected Nexus 7 (unlocked, AT&T, or T-Mobile) is $349 with 32GB of storage.

Now, and until September 30, 2014, if you buy a Nexus 7, you will also get three free months of Google Play Music All Access. If you like it, keep it for the standard subscription rate of $9.99 per month.

There is some fine print, you need to be a new Google Play Music All Access user and not have previously subscribed. The promotion is open to anyone, but must be residing in the US to use it. Following purchase of you Nexus 7, you will get a redemption code which much be used by September 30th when setting up the Google Play music account.

Google Play makes it pretty easy to migrate your library from a competing platform too. Then, in a fashion that is patently Google, it blends you library with its library, along with playlists, and personalizes the experience. You can listen to your music and All Access from anywhere, computer, tablet or smartphone.

While this is not akin to putting the Nexus 7 on a fire sale, it is nice little incentive for a nifty little tablet, and a capable music streaming service. All the details can be found via the source link below.  Which Nexus 7 will you pick up?
