Marshmallow update delayed for AT&T's HTC One (M8) and HTC One M9
A tweet from HTC's VP of product management, Mo Versi, reveales some bad news for AT&T subscribers with the HTC One (M8) and HTC One M9.
Versi said in his tweet that the Android Marshmallow update for the
AT&T branded version of HTC's 2014 and 2015 flagship models, has
been delayed. The HTC executive did add that the manufacturer is still
in the lab, and hopes to have approval for the update in the next couple
of weeks.

Meizu M3: 450,000 preorders in 24 hours!
The Meizu m3 - which was announced
a couple of days ago, recorded a total of around 450,000 pre-orders in
just 24 hours. This was revealed by an official statement by the Chinese
company.
EE is taking pre-orders for its exclusive White Pearl Galaxy S7 and S7 edge
In the UK, EE has started taking pre-orders for a new color variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge.
This is called White Pearl and it's a hue that will be exclusive to
this particular operator in the UK. So if you live over there and want
to grab one of Samsung's newest flagships in white, you'll have to go
with EE as your network of choice.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) already available for purchase in Europe
When the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) were made official
last month, there was no word on whether or not they'll be available
outside of China. There have been reports since that the new J5 will be
launched in Europe soon and now we learn the J7 is already on sale in
the region.

Due to one reason or another, HTC has not been in the greatest of the
shapes in the past couple of years. Lackluster sales made the
Taiwan-based company bleed money almost each and every quarter. Despite
being good all-around devices, One M7's successors simply did not click
with the average Joe. The forgettable mid-range phones were not much
successful either.

If you’ve preordered the Nexus 5X, you’re going to have to spend a few more dollars if you want to connect it to your computer’s USB port. That’s because out of the box, Google and LG’s smartphone doesn’t come with a cable that works with the standard USB port found on most desktop computers around the world, Android blog Phandroid reported.
Android Marshmallow might be coming to the LG G3 and G4 pretty soon
If you own a vanilla Android Nexus device, you should be getting Marshmallow on October 5. Some other more fast-paced manufacturers like HTC announced a list of its devices that will be getting the OTA and now LG might is joining the Android 6.0 fun.

ZTE says Huawei lifted the Nexus 6P design from its Grand S (Athena)
Remember ZTE's Athena or Grand S? Neither does most of the phone-buying public these days, but the ZTE marketing chief is apparently convinced that Huawei has ripped it off to enter the big leagues with its first Nexus handset, the 6P. ZTE’s head of marketing Lu Qian Hao took to the Weibo airwaves, and indirectly hinted that the little black strip on the back of the 6P is a derivative of the Athena's own elliptical strip right at the same place.
