Oppo has announced the Oppo R3 in another edition of "world's thinnest phone" (we're looking at you Sony and your "slimmest 5.3-inch phone").
Anyway, the Oppo R3 claims the title of thinnest 4G LTE phone with its slender 6.3mm aluminum unibody. It's not as thin as the Gionee Elife S5.5 (5.6mm but no LTE) though it does beat its 7.1mm thick predecessor, the Oppo R1S.
The Oppo R3 measures 142.3 x 70.4 x 6.3mm and weighs 140g. It houses a 5" 720p screen (294ppi), same as the two R1 models. It's powered by the Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1GB RAM just as the R1S and runs ColorOS based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It halves the internal storage to 8GB but compensates with the addition of a microSD card slot.
Oppo R3
The camera reverts back to 8MP (a Sony sensor behind an f/2.0 aperture lens), while the front-facing camera stays at 5MP. The camera can shoot animated GIFs or add videos to photos with the O Video feature.
The Oppo R3 packs a set of China-specific 3G and 4G radios, but it also offers vanilla 2G/3G GSM connectivity for roaming. Whether we'll see the R3 internationally is unknown. It will cost CNY 2,300 when it comes out (that's $370 / €270).
