Samsung announces the Galaxy Note 4 in India for October 17 launch |
At an event in New Delhi, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 4 for India. The device will go on sale starting October 17, and is priced at INR 58,300 ($950).
For the first time, Samsung is launching the Snapdragon-powered version of the device in India and not the Exynos variant, as has been the case with the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Note 4 that is going on sale in India features the Snapdragon 805, and comes with LTE bands that connect to 4G networks in the country.
Other specs include a 5.7-inch QHD display, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, 16 MP camera and a 3,220 mAh battery along with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Galaxy Note 4 isn't the only flagship that is set to go on sale in India on October 17, as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are also scheduled to be available starting this Friday in the country.
