Samsung A8 China Prices Revealed: 16GB Handset Will Set You Back $515 |
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, which is releasing a slew of new phones
across Asia, has revealed pricing details for its slimmest phone yet,
the Galaxy A8, which was launched in China earlier this week.
The tech site CNMO.com posted details from a launch event of the phone, which show the 16GB version of the A8 will set buyers back by 3,199 yuan ($515) and the handset with 32GB internal memory will cost 3,499 yuan ($564).
At 5.9 mm, the A8 is Samsung’s slimmest phone, but not the slimmest in the market. It integrates a fingerprint sensor into the home button and has a slightly larger 5.7-inch display compared to its predecessor, the 5.5-inch A7. But, it runs on the same Snapdragon 615 chipset with an eight-core processor and the Adreno 405 graphics processor.
