Sony Xperia Z2 named official smartphone of the 2014 World Cup

Sony Xperia Z2 named official smartphone of the 2014 World Cup
The 2014 FIFA World Cup has an official phone, and its name is the Sony Xperia Z2. Sony is one of the top sponsors for the World Cup, and it has put together a video showing some of the nationalistic behavior usually spotted in the stands during the matches. Sony is also sponsoring a contest called the Sony Football Challenge.

To enter the contest, you need to predict the final score of  all 64 World Cup games. The top 100 contestants will be listed on a leaderboard posted on the Xperia Lounge app. The app will integrate with the Sony Smartwatch2 and Sony SmartBand so that you can quickly find out scores while you're on the go.

The grand prize includes a VIP trip to Morocco, a PlayStation 4, Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, a Sony Xperia Z2 and more. In fact, the first ten winners will be receiving a Sony Xperia Z2 in their prize bags. Sweet.
