Microsoft Surface mini allegedly back in production, coming this summer

Microsoft Surface mini
Microsoft has allegedly resumed production of the Surface mini tablet that it had reportedly suspended earlier, according to @evleaks. The Surface mini is now slated for a release this summer.

We've been hearing about the ‘mini’ version of Microsoft’s Surface tablet for a while - it was originally said to get an official unveiling at Microsoft’s Build conference in the beginning of April, but it was obviously scrapped for
unknown reasons. Instead, Microsoft only unveiled a new full-sized, 12-inch Surface Pro 3 tablet at its Build conference, not even uttering a word about this ‘mini’.

At the same time, references to the Surface mini could be found all throughout the user manual for the Surface Pro 3, and there seemed to be many clues to confirm that it is indeed a real product.

Early rumors pointed out that the Surface mini sports a 7.5-inch display and comes with a stylus for better note-taking. With a planned summer release (we’d bet on the release date being in the last days of August), we’re looking forward to hearing more details about the Surface mini soon.
