Those that have been wondering when, or if, their trusty Lumia 920
would get an official Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Cyan update, it is in
the works. Lumia 920s in much of Western Europe have seen the update.
Now, for nearly the rest of the world, the update is now available.
We say "for nearly the rest of the world" because Lumia 920 users in Africa, South America, the Middle East, the rest of Europe, Asia Pacific, and Canada should be getting notifications. The Lumia 920

Naturally, those that are running the Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview will need to revert back to the official version of the operating system, a simple task that entails using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool.
Then, you can set up the developer preview again so you can get an early start with the GDR1 update to Windows Phone 8.1, which features enhancements to Cortana, brings Live Folders, and a Live Tile to the Windows Phone Store.
That pretty much leaves AT&T as the lone holdout for getting Windows Phone 8.1 to the venerable Lumia 920. Word has it that the update is in testing, so hopefully we will not be waiting too long.
