LG is coming to market with a couple of new smartphones, aimed at your average teens. Expected to be introduced at IFA, the LG L Fino is a 4.5 inch model with just 4GB of native storage. The LG L Bello
offers a 5 inch screen with 8GB of native storage. Both models will
feature Android 4.4.2, and an 8MP camera. Other shared features include
KnockCode, which allows users to set as much as an eight tap pattern in
order to awaken a sleeping phone, and the Quick Circle case. Without
opening the cover, the case gives you access to calls, text messages,
your music and the camera.
Speaking of the camera, that is one feature that teens use frequently, whether it is for a snapshot destined for social media, or for a selfie. The Front Camera Light, available for both the LG L Fino and the LG L Bello, allows for a softer white background on selfies. Gesture Shot allows you to open and close a hand in front of the lens, in order to start a three second countdown before the shutter goes off. And with Touch and Shoot, users can touch the screen to focus and snap a picture in one step.
Besides the 4.5 inch screen and 4GB of native storage, the LG L Fina has a resolution of 480 x 800 on the display, which works out to a 207ppi pixel density. A quad-core 1.2GHz processor is on board with 1GB of RAM. Besides the 8MP rear snapper, there is a .3MP front-facing camera. The unit offers HSPA+ connectivity, and a 1900mAh cell powers the phone. Depending on the market, the device is offered in White, Black, Gold, Red and Green.
The LG L Bello has that 5 inch glass, and 8GB of native memory that we already mentioned. Resolution of the display is 480 x 854, leading to a 196ppi pixel density. A quad-core 1.3GHz processor drives Miss Daisy, and there is 1GB of RAM inside. Besides the 8MP snapper on back, there is a 1MP camera in front. Offered in White, Black and Gold, a 2540mAh juicer keeps the lights on. The phone comes with support for HSPA+ connectivity.

"With
their competitive specs and accessible pricing, we have high hopes for
the L Fino and L Bello to continue our successful expansion into
emerging markets. Our newest L Series smartphones represent the best of
LG in design, hardware and UX as well as our commitment to bringing best
smartphone experience to 3G customers as many as possible."-Dr.
Jong-seok Park, president and CEO, LG Electronics Mobile Communications

Both models will launch later this month in key 3G markets in Latin America, while other countries in Europe, Asia and the CIS will also see the devices launch. Pricing and availability will be discussed during the introduction of each device in each specific country. As we said, both models are designed for the teen market. U.S. teens most likely will have to learn to live without either phone.
