Google Nexus 2015 Rumors: LG Variant Records 85000+ Score In AnTuTu

Fresh rumors on the LG variant of the coming Nexus 2015 smartphone have it that the handset has recorded a ground-breaking score of more than 85,000 on AnTuTu benchmarks. The word is that Google will be releasing two Nexus smartphones this year, believed to be the LG Nexus 2015 and Huawei Nexus 2015.

The precise AnTuTu scores of LG Nexus 2015 is 85,530. No other smartphone or tablet has recorded such a high score on AnTuTu. It has easily surpassed the score of 68,157 that was recorded by Samsung Galaxy S6, BGR reported, citing WCCF Tech as source.

One should be aware that the benchmark scores can be easily manipulated by tweaking the CPU cores. Moreover, the benchmark scores do not reveal the processor present inside the LG Nexus 2015. The handset is mentioned as Google Nexus 5 2015 on the AnTuTu report and it also reveals that the handset supports a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

NDTV claims that the LG Nexus 2015 may come out with a 5-inch screen supporting full HD resolution. It further states that the Huawei Nexus 2015 will be larger than the LG model and it will come out with higher display resolution.

Citing previous rumors, NDTV adds that the LG model is codenamed as Bullhead and it will be powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset that comes with an hexa-core processor. It will be equipped by 2,700 mAh battery.

The Huawei Nexus 2015 is codenamed as Angler. It is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display and is expected to come with Snapdragon 810 chipset onboard. It will be packed with a 3,500 mAh capacity battery.

According to Phone Arena, Google is partnering with Huawei to build a Nexus phone this year because it wants to help the Chinese firm to gain ground in Western markets. In exchange, Huawei will assist Google in building the Android app store for the Chinese audience because Google Play Store is not available in China.

Since the official app store from Google is absent in China, users make use of third-party markets to download the desired apps, The Verge reported.  As of this writing, Google has not confirmed the benchmark scores of the alleged LG Nexus 2015 and also it has not announced anything on this year’s Nexus phone.

The Nexus 6 survives a quick bath, can charge underwater

A giant, 6-inch QHD display, powerful quad-core Snapdragon 805, an optically-stabilized, 13-megapixel camera – those are all attributes that we now recognize the Google Nexus 6 for. But water resistance? Not really.

The truth is that both Motorola and especially Google are keeping mum on this one quality of the newest Nexus device. That said, at least Motorola lists the phablet as "water resistant".
