According to RBC analyst Amit Daryanani, Apple will sell more than 10 million units of the Apple iPhone 6, in the week following its launch. That is up from the 9 million units of the Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPhone 5c sold in the first week by Apple, when those two handsets launched last year.
Many analysts expect Apple to benefit from the demand for two different
sized screens. Apple will supposedly release both a 4.7 inch Apple
iPhone 6, and a 5.5 inch phablet version of the phone.
Apple is expected to introduce the 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6 at an event being held on September 9th.
At this point, it is far from clear when the larger screened model
might see the light of day. At various times of the year, we have passed
along talk about delays in obtaining parts for the phablet, which has
apparently led Apple to consider releasing both models at different times.
Apple also could decide to release both models at different times so
that the larger version of the phone won't affect the demand for the 4.7
inch model.
